Musandam Khasab dhow cruise is a captivating way to explore the stunning fjord-like landscapes of Oman's Musandam Peninsula, often dubbed the "Norway of Arabia" for its dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters.
The cruise winds through the serene waters of the Musandam fjords, particularly the Khor Sham, a sheltered bay framed by rugged mountains plunging into the sea. The highlight is the dolphin watching, the dolphins swim alongside the dhows.

Set sail on a captivating 6-hour journey through the spectacular "Fjords of Musandam" on a traditional Omani dhow. Lounge on comfortable cushions and carpets while marvelling at the dramatic landscapes. Discover historic villages, swim, and snorkel in the pristine waters near Telegraph Island and Seebi Island, passing by Khor Shem, Qanaha, and Maqlab. Watch for playful dolphins, often spotted along the route. Savour a tasty buffet lunch and refreshing drinks served on board. Life jackets and towels are provided for your convenience and safety.

- Khor Shem: A tranquil 17-km fjord with clear, calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Towering mountains mirror on the surface, and dolphins frequently frolic nearby.
- Nadafi: A tiny fishing village of about 50 residents, reachable only by boat. Children commute by boat to school in Khasab, staying there during the week. Freshwater tanks are provided on the shore by the Oman Government.
- Qanaha: A quaint fishing hamlet with stone homes nestled into the cliffs, once a strategic defensive outpost.
- Sham: A small community of roughly 50 people, surrounded by rugged beauty.
- Maqlab: A remote mountain village with about 10 homes, where locals sustain themselves through fishing and goat herding. It’s the closest point to the east coast, accessible via a trek over Jabal Maqlab.
- Telegraph Island (Jazirat al Maqlab): A historic gem where the British installed a telegraph cable in 1864. Snorkel among vibrant corals, butterfly fish, and groupers. The dhow anchors here for 1 hour, with lunch served on board.
- Seebi Island: Positioned at the fjord’s end, this village of around 60 residents is a haven for seabirds nesting in the cliffs. Snorkel in the sparkling waters during a 1-hour stop.
4:00 PM: Return to Khasab port, concluding the adventure.
